Yes, but my point is really that we shouldn’t get so distracted by the ridiculously super-rich out of touch guys like Romney that we forget that plenty of people envy those with the opportunity to eat Ramen in college. Because then we focus on hey, I’m one of the have-nots, instead of being aware of what we have. (I’m trying to avoid saying ‘privilege’ again, because vomit.)

Well said. Especially this part, “I don’t think looking at people who have less to remind you to be grateful about what you have is cool.” You are recognizing that you are privileged without pitying or diminishing the resilience or self-determination of your clients. Good stuff!
